This poster was created by Harry Rogers for Qantas during the 1950s and originally printed in Sydney by William F Schey Lithographers.

Harry Rogers was commissioned by Qantas to create a series of posters for an advertising campaign promoting overseas destinations to Australian travellers. He had an extensive and productive association with Qantas as a freelance graphic designer. He developed many uniquely innovative techniques for each poster series from the 1950s through to the 1970s. Rogers' designs embraced diverse styles such as geometrics, watercolours, collage and oils; embracing the latest in printing, typesetting and photo technology.
