Designed by Harry Rogers for Qantas this tourism poster promotes Europe as a flight destination

Harry Rogers studied animation at UCLA in California which echoed in his famous Qantas posters. He enjoyed a long, prosperous association with Qantas as a freelance designer. He designed the iconic Qantas logo font in the mid-1960's and his magnificent posters made use of bold, readily identifiable images and vivid colours that were typical of the period.

Harry Rogers was commissioned by Qantas to create a series of posters for an advertising campaign promoting overseas destinations to Australian travellers. He had an extensive and productive association with Qantas as a freelance graphic designer. He developed many uniquely innovative techniques for each poster series from the 1950s through to the 1970s.
